Attending big-time sporting events require a big-time budget. But watching the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship can be a little more feasible if you buy tickets at face value.
Unbeknownst to the majority of fans, you can enter a drawing to purchase tickets at face value for the game on Jan. 8, 2018, at Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Although odds of selection are miniscule, it's free to enter and it's always worth a shot before dropping hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on the secondary market. Fans are only required to enter their name, address, phone number and e-mail, along with number of requested tickets (up to four).

"Selected fans with a valid completed entry will be notified of an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2018 National Championship at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta," says the application form on the College Football Playoff website. "Submissions of multiple applications with the same name, address, phone or email address may be considered invalid. Please submit one application per person/per household.
The drawing is open until May 31, 2017.
