No. 74 Greg Little
Ole Miss – OT
Greg Little didn't have time to adjust to the SEC. He was thrown into the field as a true freshman in 2016 and tasked with blocking some of the conference's best pass-rushers of the last decade like Myles Garrett, Arden Key and Carl Lawson. That was before he dropped 20 pounds and became one of the best offensive tackles in the country.
Little, a former five-star recruit and now-powerful 6-foot-6, 325-pounder from Allen, Texas, earned Freshman All-America honors from several publications in 2016 and was an All-SEC Second-Teamer last year.
"I've challenged him this spring to make everyone else around him better," head coach Luke said in March. "Don't just be satisfied with being a good player but take a leadership role, get out of his comfort zone and make everyone else around you better
A potential first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Little says he thinks about the next level but never once did he consider transferring from Ole Miss after the program was hit with a two-year postseason ban.
"There was no decision," he said in March after attending a symposium at the NFL Scouting Combine for future NFL players. "I was an Ole Miss Rebel the whole time. All those reports and rumors were just rumors. I was never in Auburn . . . I don't know how that one came about. I'm committed to Coach Luke. I'm committed to the team, and I love every one of these guys in the room."
