Ohio will have a chance to make some noise early in the season thanks to a pair of winnable non-conference games against Power 5 schools.
After opening up at home on September 2 to FCS foe Hampton, the Bobcats travels to Purdue for a nationally televised Friday night showdown with the Boilermakers o September 8. The MAC squad then returns home to face Big 12 opponent Kansas the following weekend.
A 3-0 record with two wins over Power 5 schools is definitely a possibility for Frank Solich's team.
