After nearly 60 years, New Mexico State is going bowling as they face Utah State in the Arizona Bowl.

One of the biggest reasons NMSU was able to get bowl eligible at 6-6 is its incredible talent at wide receiver and running back in Jaleel Scott and Larry Rose III respectively.

Here are the top 10 NFL Draft prospects to keep an eye on during this year's Arizona Bowl, which you can catch live on CBS Sports Network at 5:30 PM ET on December 29.

RANK PLAYER POS TEAM
1 Jaleel Scott WR New Mexico State
2 Larry Rose III RB New Mexico State
3 Aaron Dalton P Utah State
4 Kent Myers QB Utah State
5 Jalen Davis CB Utah State
6 Parker Davidson K  New Mexico State
7 Ron LaForce SS New Mexico State
8 Dallin Leavitt FS Utah State
9 Damion Hobbs QB Utah State
10 Jaden Wright SS New Mexico State

Jaleel Scott

Scott first got the nation's attention during a week one performance against Arizona State that turned out to be a preview of just how competitive NMSU would be in 2017 as they hung tough during a 37-31 defeat.

With just two catches against Utah State, Scott will finish the year as the Sun Belt leader in receptions ahead of Georgia State's Penny Hart. He can also pass Hart in yards receiving with 80 and break their tie for most receiving touchdowns in the conference, which currently stands at 8.

To get a sense of how incredible Scott's number are in 2017, here's how he stacks up against Biletnikoff Award winner and potential top 10 draft pick James Washington of Oklahoma State.

Larry Rose III

If Rose can have a solid 105-yard-plus performance against Utah State, he'll finish the year second in the conference in rushing yards. If he has an epic afternoon of 219 yards or more, he'll wind up as the Sun Belt rushing leader ahead of Aaron Duckworth of Idaho.

As you can see in his highlight reel below, Rose has the potential to be the next Kareem Hunt in the NFL – a do-it-all running back especially helpful on third down.
