Who's the oldest active FBS head coach?
The oldest coach is more than twice the age of the youngest head coach and is one of only two FBS coaches at least 70 years old. He's won more than 200 career games and is already in the College Football Hall of Fame.
And, again, it's not Herm Edwards.

Answer
Bill Snyder, Kansas State
Bill Snyder and Frank Solich are the only active FBS head coaches over the age of 70. Solich, entering his 14th season at Ohio, turns 74 in September, while Snyder, entering his 10th season of his second stint at Kansas State, turns 79 in October.
Snyder was 49 years old when he became K-State head coach. He retired at 66 and returned three years later at 69.
