Or maybe you were hired to be one of the youngest college football coaches in the history of the sport. The latter is certainly the case for Sean Lewis over at Kent State.

Lewis joins an impressive list of "youngsters" leading major programs at the FBS level, which includes 2017 playoff participant Oklahoma led by 34-year-old stud Lincoln Riley and Memphis' soon-to-be-probably-coaching-at-a-Power-5-conference Mike Norvell.
The Golden Flashes new leader certainly has his work cut out for him. The program has gone just 201-415-5 since it began fielding a team in 1962. It has played in only two bowl games in school history (and lost both) with the most recent being a 2012 appearance in the GoDaddy.com Bowl. Since that 11-win season in 2012, the team has gone 14-45.
Thankfully for Kent State fans, students, alums, and players, coach Lewis should bring plenty of energy to a program that desperately needs an injection of enthusiasm.
