Stetson is seeking a new head coach after "parting ways" with Corey Williams this week, according to Jeff Goodman.
The news came three days after Stetson's regular season ended with a loss to Kennesaw State, which pushed them into a last-place tie with the Owls and kept them out of the Atlantic Sun Tournament.
Williams, a former Oklahoma State player and a second-round pick of the Chicago Bulls in 1992, went 58-133 (22-68, Atlantic Sun) in six seasons. The Hatters never won more than 12 games and never finished better than seventh in the conference.

Last week, my pick was Jeff Price of Division-II Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla, three hours south of Stetson, and that hasn't changed. Price enters the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Tournament with a 22-5 record this season and 408-258 record overall in 22 seasons as head coach, including 10 years at Georgia Southern.
He built the Lynn program from scratch and could be attractive to a Stetson program seeking their second-ever 20-win season and first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
A few other nearby Division II coaches to consider: Mike Helfer (Valdosta State), Jim Crutchfield (Nova Southeastern) and Mike Donnelly (Florida Southern).
Current UCF assistant Robbie Laing took over a miserable Campbell program in 2003 (20 total wins in three years before his arrival) and led them to their third-ever 19-win season and regular-season Atlantic Sun title in 2010. An Alabama native, he's spent several years in Florida and has strong ties throughout the southeast.
Laing's former Campbell assistant (and current Bethune-Cookman head coach) Ryan Ridder could be an option, as could Miami (FL) assistant Pooh Williamson, USC assistant Chris Capko and USF assistant Scott Wagers.
