Todd McShay thinks West Georgia offensive lineman Desmond Harrison could be a day three pick and one of the first D2 football players off of the draft board in the 2018 NFL Draft.

McShay recently released his "Perfect 2018 Mock" and sent the offensive lineman to the Houston Texans with the 80th pick overall, or the 16th pick in the third round.
Here's McShay's methodology for the mock draft: "I'm not projecting picks based on what I'm hearing around the league. This is me making 100 picks — three full rounds — based on what's best for each team at that slot, so that each team gets an "A" grade from me. And yes, I'm following Kiper's rules on this one and not making any trades."

McShay called Harrison a "small-school prospect who will bolster the line," something Houston will be especially concerned with accomplishing this season after Deshaun Watson's breakout performance and subsequent injury.
Harrison is the second D2 prospect off the board in McShay's mock, following Fort Hays State defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd, who he sent to the Buffalo Bills with the 65th pick.
