This will be an extremely close battle, with quarterback play on each side the likely deciding factor. As you can see with our key players above, Luis Perez for Commerce is the name to watch as he is one of the best in the land and a preseason All-American. But his nemesis on the defensive side – Andrew Spencer – has picked off seven passes this year and will be looking for more.
Overall, both teams are successful on both sides, so it is a true coin flip. But in the end, Perez is what makes the difference in my opinion, as the senior QB chases down his first national title. A few key throws late in the game will secure the victory, and Commerce will advance to face Central Washington.
