Taurice Scott vs.
UW-Wisconsin defense
Simply put, Scott is the best dual-threat quarterback in the nation. As mentioned earlier, the former wide receiver can beat you with his feet. But he can also beat you with his arm. Scott has thrown for 3,004 yards and 39 touchdowns to just five interceptions. To beat Mount Union, you have to start with Scott, it’s as simple as that. Pass defense is UW-Wisconsin’s biggest weakness. The Warhawks are 108th in the nation in passing yards allowed (2,724 yards allowed for the season), and if there was ever a game to step up in that area, it’s this one. To their credit, the Warhawks did force UW-Oshkosh quarterback Brett Kasper to throw two interceptions last week. Maybe that pass defense is saving its best efforts for the final push of the season.
