Sam Houston was one of the biggest surprises out of the Group of Six during the 2024 season. In their second FBS campaign, the Bearkats went 10-3 overall including a New Orleans Bowl victory over Georgia Southern, Sam Houston’s first appearance in a bowl.
But after head coach KC Keeler left for Temple and Phil Longo took over, the Bearkats didn’t keep winning at that level. They went 2-10 overall in 2025.
But they hope to bounce back with a few incoming transfers. Here’s a look at how Sam Houston is doing in the transfer portal, per On3.
