An astonishing 12 Sun Belt teams will be playing in bowl games this year.
In all, 35 programs from the Group of Five conferences will be a part of college football’s bowl game schedule in 2023.

The Mountain West is second among the G5 leagues with seven bowl-eligible teams. There will be six squads each from the AAC and MAC playing in bowl games, while four Conference USA teams are scheduled to compete in bowls.
