Georgia State and Utah State are two Group of Five teams which are trending in two different directions.
The Panthers, after starting 6-1 overall, dropped to 6-6 after losing their last five games in the regular season. The Aggies, meanwhile, won three of their last four contests – including a 44-41 double-overtime thriller against New Mexico – to improve to 6-6 overall and make a bowl game.

The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 23, at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho.

Georgia State vs. Utah State Prediction
I’m picking Utah State to win and cover the spread at -1. I also am predicting the game will go Over 62.5 total points.
I believe both of these teams are talented on the offensive side of the ball. I foresee this being a high-scoring contest as a result.
However, I think USU is playing better recently. The Panthers haven’t won since October, while the Aggies had to play with some urgency late in the season to get to a bowl game at all.
I think the Aggies will keep their momentum going into this clash.
