It’s been a while since a player from one of the Group of Five conferences has won the Heisman Trophy, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
There are four G5 quarterbacks with Heisman Trophy odds as of May 22. Coastal Carolina signal caller Grayson McCall is the leader among them at +20000. McCall has won the Sun Belt Player of the Year award the past three seasons and has a chance to make it four in a row in 2023.
