I’m picking JMU to win and cover the spread at -3.5. I also am predicting the game will go Under 49.5 total points.
JMU is regarded as one of the best teams in the Group of Five for a reason. The Dukes continue to find ways to win, and they’ve done so decisively in recent weeks.
Their win against Georgia Southern last week and Marshall’s loss to Georgia State a week ago make me believe there’s a talent discrepancy here. I think JMU’s defense, led by defensive lineman Jalen Green, will dominate and help the Dukes win.
