Malachi Corley was one of the top playmakers in this year’s draft. The Western Kentucky wide receiver showed what he could do the past few years in Conference USA.
As a result, Corley was drafted in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. That’s where the New York Jets selected him with the No. 65 overall pick on Friday night.
Here’s what that means for Corley’s first pro contract.
Malachi Corley’s Contract Details
Corley is projected to be able to sign a four-year, $6.1 million contract with the Jets, according to Spotrac. Corley’s deal could include a $1.2 million signing bonus and an average annual value of $1.5 million.
There’s a limit for NFL rookie contracts depending on when players are drafted, so there likely won’t be much negotiating needed.
Corley was the third Group of Five prospect off the board in this year’s draft and the first from CUSA.
