- Cole Gonzales: 276 passing yards and 3 TDs
- WCU wins even with Desmond Reid exiting the game with an injury. Reid still ran for 211 yards and 2 TDs
- Game ball: Youngstown State
- YSU beats No. 6 Southern Illinois 31-3
- YSU holds SIU to only 6 rushing yards and 100 total yards
- Flag: SEMO
- SEMO loses to No. 23 Central Arkansas 38-33 after holding a 30-6 lead entering the 4th
- 3rd straight fourth-quarter comeback loss
