The countdown is on to the kickoff of the FCS season when four games open the slate on Saturday, August 26. Texas Southern and Florida A&M will kick off the season with an early game Saturday, followed by clashes between Portland State and BYU, Chattanooga and Jacksonville State, and Colgate and Cal Poly. Richmond and Sam Houston State were set kick off on Sunday, but the game was postponed due to Hurricane Harvey.
