These are the guys who got things done in 2019, the FCS players who made the big plays and helped carry their teams to greatness. Nobody will ever be able to take the description “All American” from their resumes, as they’ve made this permanent list. Presenting, the 2019 HERO Sports FCS All America Team (all classes).
What does HERO Sports do differently? We consider postseason performance leading up to the release of this honor, meaning the quarterfinals play into our decision-making. In fact, we added a player or two based on that, as they were on the fringe of making our teams prior to the quarters, then proved they belonged in the quarters. Also, we realized the FCS is full of skill-position talent and we try to reward it. That’s our philosophy on the 126 teams and 13 conferences. Now, we also realize that the level of play differs from conference to conference, that also plays into the decision making. Also, the 2019 HERO Sports Sophomore and Freshman All-American Teams will publish at 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday (Dec. 17).
