BMAC'S TAKE: There were some really tough calls here … in the first round, SEMO-Illinois State I could see going either way, Albany-CCSU is a potential landmine for Albany, APSU-Furman should be a great matchup this weekend and UNI will need to be careful with San Diego. Farther down the line Sam and I have some major differences in opinion, which we'll get into in Monday evening's B-Mac and Herd's FCS Podcast, which will be our lone recording of the week with the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up (hope you all have a GREAT one folks!). The deep discussion will come in the podcast, as we spend the time to get into every decision, along with what we thought the bracket committee got wrong and hey … what they got right, too. They did do a pretty solid job this year — second year in a row in my opinion. Also, remember … the top FCS awards voting comes this week, and we'll touch on that too for a long version of the Podcast, just in time for those long Thanksgiving rides to eat turkey.

PLAYOFF SNUB?: Southern Illinois Coach Talks To HERO Sports
SAM'S TAKE: We’ll get into the first-round games and why we picked those the way we did on our podcast tomorrow. But looking ahead to the semifinals, what a fantastic group of four programs we’d have if my predictions come true. I like how Montana State is rolling right now. And let’s not forget how badly Montana beat Weber State just a couple of weeks ago. Doing it in Utah will be tougher, though. But the semifinal is where it ends for the two Montana schools. I’ve felt NDSU and JMU were on a collision course ever since last season ended. I think JMU is much closer to NDSU than some people think, but it’s hard to pick against the Bison in Frisco.
