Welcome to the 2020 FCS Jersey Countdown.
Throughout the May-August months, HERO Sports is going to name the best returning FCS player by jersey number, 99-1. Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the 2019 season.

61: Evan Hecimovich, OL (Sr.) — Dartmouth
The Big Green had just one returning starter on the offensive line entering 2019. Not only did Hecimovich step into the center position as a first-year starter, he converted positions on the offensive line to take over that role.
The new-look offensive line rose to the occasion with Hecimovich anchoring it. Dartmouth finished 9-1 for the second year in a row, erasing any preseason doubt due to the number of starters gone.
Hecimovich went on to earn All-Ivy League Second Team honors as he started every game. The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder is set for a big senior season as one of the top offensive lineman in the conference.
