The regular season begins Saturday, Aug. 24 with Samford vs. Youngstown State in the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff along with Villanova playing at Colgate.

79: P.J. Burkhalter, OL (Jr.) — Nicholls
The big man has been key in Nicholls' success since he stepped into the starting lineup as a freshman in 2017. Burkhalter started in 12 games at guard that year and established himself as one of the top offensive lineman in the Southland Conference.
The 6-foot-3, 330-pounder backed that up last year with All-Southland honorable mention honors. Nicholls had the 12th best rushing attack in the FCS in 2018 with 246.8 yards a game.
Durability is huge for offensive linemen, and Burkhalter has started in all 25 games for the Colonels in the last two seasons.
