The FCS early National Signing Period has opened up, and prospective FCS athletes can sign with their chosen school from today (Wednesday, Dec. 19) until Friday (Dec. 21). Then the next time they can sign a letter of intent begins on Wednesday, Feb. 6 until April 1 in 2019.

ALL-STAR GAMES: Which FCS Players Are Going?
FCS TO NFL: Which Players Are Possible Draft Picks?
Thanks to the FCS Playoffs, coaching changes and the FCS All-American teams, FCS recruiting has had to take a bit of a backseat to other topics, but below HERO Sports will list the schools who have sent us their press releases — ranked by the sizes of the classes they've brought on. I also hunted down the FCS Quarterfinalists if they had anything posted on their site. All schools vary in how many recruits they bring in during the early period. Some may bring in three, some 25 … as you can see below.
NOTE: This will only be updated based on press releases received by the end of the day Wednesday. Also, our full FCS rankings — Top 50 teams and FCS Top 250 individuals — will be released in February the week of National Signing Day — after every young man has been signed.
ALSO: The Ivy League teams have some of the top-rated recruits in the FCS, but because of the league's non-scholarship status, they won't have any signings but will be included in our February FCS recruiting wrapup package.
