There are many boring NFL games on Thursday nights. Those games are usually sloppily played low-scoring affairs or blowouts where only one of the two sides turns up to play. This week though featured a Thursday night game that was about a wild and – in the second half at least – captivating as any we have seen since the NFL introduced the concept.
This video shows the highlights of the LA Rams wild and crazy 41-39 victory over the San Francisco 49ers last night. It may well have been the best game of the year so far in the entire league, as former Georgia running back Todd Gurley refound his mojo to score three total touchdowns and the Rams escaped an epic 49ers comeback attempt.
