WATCH: NFL 2017: Top Five Rookie Performances From Week 5

HERO Sports by HERO Sports
October 9, 2017

It is the second quarter of the NFL season where rookies really begin to shine. At this point, the new players have adapted to the league and their teammates, plus more rookies are playing as veterans start to go down with injuries.

Week 5 saw some outstanding performances from rookies and the Top 5 are seen in this video. Leonard Fournette (LSU) must have thought he had Offensive Rookie of the Week honors nailed down when he stepped off of the field after leading the Jacksonville Jaguars to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Then he watched as Deshaun Watson (Clemson) broke a rookie record for touchdown passes in a game as the Houston Texans were beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs. Both rookies were outstanding on Sunday, but Watson gets the nod here.
