The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Calvin Ridley (2017) vs. Courtland Sutton (2017)
This video from DEVO Highlights features Alabama WR Calvin Ridley. Ridley was the go-to receiver for the Crimson Tide in 2017, where he compiled 55 catches for 967 yards and four touchdowns. The numbers are not nearly as impressive as some of the other pass catchers in the draft, but the theory is that Ridley was held back by the passing ability of Jalen Hurts and the dependence on the ground game rather than any faults of his own.
Ridley is widely regarded at as the top prospect at the position because of his exceptional route-running and quickness. Adding weight to his frame will be important in the NFL.
