FIVE laterals!
An Ohio high school football game between Lima Senior and St. Francis de Sales had the craziest finish in recent memory. Lima Senior scored to go up 25-24 with three seconds left in the game. All they had to do was kick the ball away and stop the return.
St. Francis de Sales certainly made it stressful. After five laterals, it looked like they had a free run up the sideline, until Lima Senior kicker Cole Mericle chased down the return man and made the game-winning tackle inside the five yard line.
