College football is amazing.
Western Kentucky led 28-17 with 45 seconds remaining in the first half and were set to receive the kickoff to start the third quarter. Memphis had just punted to the Hilltoppers' own 15-yard line and on first down WKU lined up to kneel the ball and head to the locker rooms, happy with an 11-point lead.
Nope.

On the snap, the quarterback, Mike White, bolted around right end, but he didn't have the ball. Instead, they snapped the ball to the player lined up to the right of the QB — typically there to make sure the quarterback isn't hit, risking a fumble.
This time it was starting running back Anthony Wales, however, and he ended up rumbling around the left end for 53 yards. There were 35 seconds remaining and the Hilltoppers were in business, with at least a shot to get a field goal try.
The next play, White was intercepted, ending the threat and the half, but the play was well executed and caught the Memphis defense off guard.
Western Kentucky went on to win 51-31 behind White's 336 yards and three scored and the 245 yards rushing — and 3 TD — by Wales.
