Derek Rivers is a small school prospect who started out this draft process as a secret but who has become a player with many potential suitors. The Youngstown State star did everything that could be asked of him as an FCS player, finishing his three-year stint with the Penguins (he barely played as a freshman) with 173 tackles, 56.5 tackles for a loss, 37,5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
In other words, he was an unblockable monster off of the edge.
The 2017 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
