Teams looking for a hybrid athlete at the WR/TE position could do a lot worse than Gerald Everett of South Alabama. The 6-foot-3, almost 240 pounder does not really fit any traditional player mold, but he is a yards after contact machine who seemingly always makes extra ground after the initial tackler hits him.
Everett also didn't even begin playing football until his senior year of high school, showing that it is never too late to get into the game and be successful.
