NFL COMBINE: The FCS’ Top All-Time Performers

The FCS has had more than 800 players invited to the NFL Draft Combine since the event began in 1982. We were able to dig up performance records dating back to 1987 and wanted to see who ran the top 40-yard dash time or had the best vertical jump.

Below, you'll see the top performers in each category.

Some position groups begin arriving today (Feb. 26) for measurements and interviews and will do behind-the-scenes work and interviews before doing measurable position work beginning Friday — and this will be broadcast on ABC and the NFL Network. Here's how it looks for the event at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis:

Friday (March 1): RB, OL, Specialists
Saturday (March 2): QB, WR, TE
Sunday (March 3): DL, LB
Monday (March 4): DB

Broadcast info: ABC (Saturday for QBs and WRs, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET); NFL Network (begins 7 a.m. ET each morning); Live Stream: NFL App and NFL.com/Watch. Also, NFL.com will air a one-hour re-cap show, Combine Today, each day of the Combine, streaming at 2 p.m. ET on Friday and Sunday, 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, and 12 p.m. ET on Monday.[divider]
