9. MCNEESE STATE

RECRUITS: 21
GEM OF THE CLASS: DB Gabe Foster (6-2/185)
NEXT THREE: WR Parker Orgeron, OL Collin Fountain, RB Keshon Bell
THE SKINNY: McNeese State is known for playing great defense, and its crop of defensive backs in this class certainly backs that up. This group of four (Foster, Colby Burton, Darion Dunn and Wayland Hurst) looks as good as any in the FCS. They are fast and they are playmakers, both in the secondary and on special teams. Purdue wanted Foster badly, but he stayed closer to home. All in all, this is a fine group–and having well-known college coach Ed Orgeron's twin sons (WR Parker and QB Cody) on board is a nice bonus.
PARKER ORGERON TOLD HERO SPORTS: "The coaching staff went out and got competitors, and we've become pretty close just from going on our visits. I'm excited about it."
