Miezan is a 6-foot-3, 238-pounder form Alexandria, Va., who's been turning heads on the lacrosse field for years. He began earning football headlines last January when college football offers started rolling in, at which time he said he planned to play both sports in college.
"When I talk to coaches, the main thing they see is an athlete with good instinct," Miezan told HERO Sports last year. "They know it was my first year and are impressed. With any good athlete, they know their coaching staff can grow and mold me into a competitor on their football team."
The third-ranked lacrosse prospect in the 2018 class (Inside Lacrosse), Miezan is an unranked, unrated football prospect (247Sports) but carries offers from five FBS programs, including Michigan State, North Carolina and Wisconsin. He picked the Tar Heels on Tuesday, ending one of the more intriguing recruitments across college sports this year.
