Southern Miss football has not won a game, announced a new coaching hire or even secured a recruiting commitment this month. Nonetheless, the Golden Eagles are on fire.
On May 8, their equipment staff unveiled awesome throwback uniforms that honor the 1997 team that went 9-3 and won the Conference USA Championship. A week later, they dropped two more uniform combinations that bring back a lot of gold.
On Tuesday morning, football equipment tweeted out two photos of new home digs for the 2017 season, including an all-gold combo.
