Ed Lamb
The 41-year old coach deserves a ton of credit for keeping his squad in a positive state of mind after the first two games of the season. It probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise for a coach who led his 2013 team to its first ever FCS playoff appearance and a win over FBS foe and eventual bowl participant South Alabama.
How far has the team come since Lamb’s arrival? The Thunderbirds were on a 19-game losing streak prior to his hiring in 2008.
