Diana Taurasi (UConn)
Hailing from Chino, Diana Taurasi took her talents across the country and starred for UConn from 2001-04, winning three National Championships. In her collegiate career, Taurasi scored 2,584 points (15.5 per game) and had 746 rebounds, 753 assists and 201 steals. She was named the USBWA and AP Player of the Year in 2003, won the Wade Trophy in the same year, won the Naismith Trophy twice, was a three-time First Team All-American and was a USA Olympic Team member in 2004.
Taurasi was drafted into the WNBA with the No. 1 overall pick by the Phoenix Mercury, where she played 11 seasons, averaging 20.1 points per game. She won the WNBA MVP Award in 2009, is a nine-time WNBA First Team All-Star and has played for numerous international teams, and is currently with the UMMC Ekaterinburg of Russia.
