Football finally returns to UAB for the first time in two years when the Blazers host Alabama A&M inside Legion Field on the first Saturday of September.

While we reported earlier this year about the squad's new Under Armour uniforms, what hadn't been revealed yet was the team's helmets.
That is until Marty Smith of ESPN posted these fantastic photos today.

It will be interesting to see if these helmets come with matching alternate uniforms. One can imagine the white outs looking sleek, but the green helmet makes me wonder if the entire ensemble will glow in the dark?
I guess we'll have to wait until September 2 to find out.
