The 2024 FCS playoff bracket has 24 teams, featuring 10 auto-bids from 10 conferences and 14 at-large bids. Sixteen teams will be seeded with the Top 8 receiving first-round byes and seeds 9-16 hosting first-round games.
Frisco, Texas, hosts the championship for the 15th season. The city and Toyota Stadium have the game contract through the 2026 season (January 2027 game).
When Is The 2024 FCS Playoff Selection Show?
The 2024 FCS playoff bracket will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 24. The selection show airs at 11:30 a.m. CT on ESPNU.
The playoffs begin Nov. 30 with the first-round games. The second-round games are on Dec. 7, the quarterfinals are on the weekend of Dec. 13 and 14, the semifinals are held on the weekend of Dec. 20 and 21, and the title game is on Monday, Jan. 6 in Frisco, Texas.
