The 2023 FCS playoff bracket has 10 auto-bids from 10 conferences and 14 at-large bids. Eight teams receive seeds with first-round byes. The national championship game is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, in Frisco, Texas. It will air at 2 p.m. ET on ABC.
Frisco hosts the championship for the 14th season. The city and Toyota Stadium have the game contract through the 2024 season with an option for the 2025 season. They are expected to sign a contract extension beyond 2025.

The 2023 FCS playoff bracket will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 19. It airs at 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
The playoffs begin Nov. 25 with the first-round games. The second-round games are Dec. 2, the quarterfinals are Dec. 8 and 9, the semifinals are Dec. 15 and 16, and the title game is Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas.
