Ten of yesterday's 13 underdogs covered the spread with Jacksonville, Buffalo, Chicago, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Washington, and the New York Jets winning outright. Sportsbooks all over Nevada claimed the day as one of their best ever. They especially took the public for a ride when Oakland failed to cover the -3 at Washington. Just before kickoff, seven times as much money was on the Raiders than the Redskins.
