2011 Alabama-LSU Alumni Now Make $126.5 Million Per Year in the NFL

The 2011 Alabama vs. LSU matchup has gone down in history as one of the greatest collections of NFL talent to ever step onto the same college football field at the same time.

The matchup between the No. 1 Tigers and No. 2 Crimson Tide only resulted in a 9-6 LSU victory, but produced a rematch in the National Championship (won by Alabama 21-0) and ultimately helped start the NFL careers of nearly 100 players.

All told, 47 players from the 2011 LSU and Alabama rosters were drafted into the NFL from 2012 to 2015, and a grand total of 84 players from those rosters were drafted or signed in undrafted free agency.

Of those 84 players, 44 are currently employed by NFL teams, and they combine to make an average yearly salary of nearly $127 million – $126,691,801 to be exact.

Led by Tyrann Mathieu ($12.5 million per year), Michael Brockers (over $11 million per year) and Dre Kirkpatrick ($10.5 million per year), former Alabama and LSU players who were on the field or sidelines for the LSU-Bama matchups that year are currently raking big money in the NFL.

Here's a look at the 44 players from the 2011 LSU and Alabama rosters who are currently on the roster of NFL teams:
