As soon as the 2017 NFL Draft finished, scouting websites wasted little time digging into next year's draft class. Year after year, the FCS proves it's full of NFL talent. This season will be no different, as 78 players in the subdivision are ranked in the top 50 on NFLDraftScout's 2018 NFL Draft prospects by position lists.
Ten FCS quarterbacks are ranked in the top 50, which leads all FCS position groups. Jacksonville State leads all FCS teams with five players in the rankings, while the Missouri Valley Football Conference has the most of any conference with 21 players listed.
The rankings have adjusted some since Brian McLaughlin's Top FCS Prospects For The 2018 NFL Draft article published back in May. For example, South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert has jumped from the No. 9 prospect to No. 3.
Here, we'll go through the No. 1 FCS offensive and defensive prospects by position in the next two pages. The last page features all 78 players who are listed as top 50 prospects.
