The Big 12 announced its plans to proceed with a fall season. The conference will use the format of one non-conference game and nine conference games.
Big 12 teams have begun to release what their schedules look like, including who their nonconference opponents are.
So far, four FCS teams are officially still on the schedule for Big 12 programs. Houston Baptist plays Texas Tech, Tennessee Tech plays TCU, Missouri State plays Oklahoma and Eastern Kentucky plays West Virginia.
All games are scheduled for Sept. 12.
Houston Baptist plays in the Southland Conference while Tennessee Tech and EKU play in the OVC. Both conferences haven’t announced their intentions for a fall season yet. Missouri State plays in the MVFC, which announced it will play league games in the spring, but allow member institutions to play nonconference games in the fall.
