The 2018 NFL season is rapidly approaching. The thoughts of the upcoming preseason madness are exciting. The thoughts of the regular season kicking off so that we can root for our favorite teams and players is even more exciting.
But we are also starting to dig into our archives to prepare for our fantasy football seasons and opportunities where we can make a few extra bucks betting the games. Lucky for us, there is a new site that can help us do just that.
Here’s how:

Live Odds
OddsMarket has live lines that are constantly updating from the top sportsbooks around the globe. Seeing exactly when a line moves is crucial because it keeps you from falling behind the curve so that you can correctly time when you place a wager.
The fact that you can easily see all the books allows you to effectively shop for the best lines. For example, why only get 85 cents on the dollar when you could get 95 cents a mere mouse click away? You can also access line history to see what the odds opened at for any given game, and which direction they are going. So, if you are trying to get in at a specific point spread or a certain price, this information is key in predicting when to pull the trigger.
Having up-to-date odds information is useful for your DFS efforts as well. If you see any hard shift in the lines, it could be an indication that something has happened that will affect the outcome of the game. It always seems like these Vegas guys receive key information before everyone else.

The Event Calendar
OddsMarket Event Calendar is a handy little tool that allows you to search sporting events quickly using different parameters. You can go the simplest route and just enter the date and get results showing information on every major sporting event that will take place around the world. Or you can narrow it down to country, sport, league, etc.
I find the OddsMarket calendar particularly useful for two things: easily seeing what time games start in my time-zone and checking the results for games that have already played. Have you ever noticed that when you search Google for a matchup scores and stats, you sometimes get an old result that happened earlier in the season or even from a different season altogether? When that happens, it frustrates the heck out of me. The calendar solves that problem.

It’s All Customizable
Remember how in the section above I mentioned that you could see start times in your time zone? That is because when you create a basic user account, you can customize your user experience so that OddsMarket operates in your time zone as well as displays the odds from your preferred sportsbooks front and center.
I love that I can check information about London or Mexico City games and not have to do the mental math like GMT -7 … it just shows my time-zone, which is great.

Dynamic Futures
One thing that most websites don’t have is live futures lines. Typically, futures odds sit static and have to be manually updated by the webmaster. OddsMarket makes it easy for you to see you favorite teams probability of winning their division, conference, and the Super Bowl.
On the top bar, you’ll see an option that says, ‘Betting Resources’. When you select this, a drop down will appear that says, ‘Outright Odds.’ This is what you are looking for. After you click Outright Odds, you just need to enter the parameters. Choose American Football, select the country: USA, pick the league and choose the market you wish to view! Updated odds that tell you the probability of your team winning will pop up.
