With Jahlee Addae a free agent, the Chargers could spend their cap space on pass rusher Melvin Ingram and fill Addae's position with a player like Adams. Adams is fast and physical, giving him the athletic abilities to help in coverage versus tight ends, wide receiver and backs and offer some thump versus the run. No. 7 may be the absolute floor for Adams, if he even lasts that long.
