Western Michigan star receiver Corey Davis is projected as a first-round pick in April's NFL Draft.
HEROSports.com's Draft Analyst Todd Worly has Davis ranked No. 11 overall and the No. 2 wide receiver in the class and had this to say about the 6-foot-3, 215-pound pass catcher:
If you haven’t seen Davis play and/or still doubt him, he’ll be proving you wrong for years to come. Not only does he have a similar size and skill set as Clemson star Mike Williams, but he loves the game and loves to work to become better every day, which is something that not all highly-talented players have. |

In this highlight video by HarrisHighlights, Davis displays his speed, hands and ability to catch the ball in traffic down the field. He also shows he knows how to use his size and is fearless in competing for the football.
He's good after the catch and despite lacking elite speed his acceleration from zero to top speed may be unmatched by any receiver in this class not named John Ross (Washington).
Davis caught 97 balls this season for an even 1,500 yards and 19 scores. He caught at least four passes in all but one game and reached the 100-yard mark five times, including a 12-catch, 272-yard effort in a 52-20 win at Ball State in November.
He finished his four-year career with the Broncos as college football's all-time leader in receiving yards at the FBS level with 5,285. He also tallied 52 touchdown receptions and 332 catches.
Davis has been linked to NFL teams drafting between No. 5 and 15, including the Cleveland Browns (12), Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers.
