Jason Candle led Toledo to a great deal of success in his time as the Rockets’ head coach.
They won two MAC Championships and reached the conference title game twice in the past four years.
This led to Candle being considered for other coaching opportunities, and he is now at UConn. The Huskies hope he can help them sustain the success they found when Jim Mora was their coach.
