86: Briley Moore, Junior Tight End – Northern Iowa
Repeatedly described by head coach Mark Farley as a "true tight end," Briley Moore is a talented MVFC player who could be the next Dallas Goedert. A 6-foot-3-inch rising talent who can play in-line or go grab a first down, Moore is the rare talent who excels equally at both aspects of the tight end position.
After recording a touchdown catch against North Dakota State in 2016, Moore really emerged as a potential threat last season, when he posted 38 receptions for 494 yards. He had three games of 90 or more receiving yards. At the end of the season, the Missouri Valley gave him an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
This year, with both Goedert and Jacquet McClendon gone, Moore could challenge for the role of best tight end in the Missouri Valley. Historically speaking, if you can be the best tight end in that conference, you might just be the best in FCS Football.
