College football teams debuting new helmets and uniforms — it's officially in full swing.
From Georgia State to North Texas, squads are showcasing new lids and threads at a furious rate.
We can now add Appalachian State and Kent State to the list.

The two teams debuted these golden-yellow beauties for their home openers this weekend:

The Mountaineers are coming off a tough 31-10 loss at Georgia last weekend and return to Boone for its home opener against FCS foe Savannah State.

App State isn't the only squad debuting golden-yellow lids this weekend.
Kent State will be rocking these new bad boys when it hosts Howard on Saturday in what once probably felt like an easy win over an FCS team until the Bison did this to UNLV last Saturday.
