Baker Mayfield was nearly perfect through two quarters against UTEP in the Oklahoma season opener. He tossed three touchdowns and totaled over 300 passing yards, throwing just one incompletion in the first half.

His 19/20, 329-yard, 3-TD line helped the Sooners to a 35-7 lead over UTEP after two quarters. Mayfield completed those 19 passes to 10 different players, only completing multiple passes to Mark Andrews (7 for 134 and a TD), CeeDee Lamb (3 for 21 yards and a score) and Jeff Badet (2 for 70).
Mayfield is an early Heisman Trophy contender, and he's showing it against UTEP. Here's a few of the big plays from the first half:
